Zeebu launches first-ever B2B loyalty and utility token for telecom carriers

To establish itself as a market leader in the telecom carrier field, Zeebu has introduced a settlement platform based on blockchain technology with plans to acquire more than 100 carriers as a result of its connections, access, and network.

On May 2, Zeebu released the first loyalty B2B and utility token specifically designed for the telecommunications sector. The aim is to cooperate with major telecom operators to offer worldwide connection, as per the latest news shared with Finbold.

Telecommunications companies deal with international clients and a large frequency of transactions. Yet, they face challenges such as payment delays, currency shortages in developing areas, currency volatility against the US dollar, high transaction costs, and low-profit margins.

Merchants and consumers may benefit from the cost savings, accelerated settlements, and increased profits made possible by using the Zeebu loyalty utility tokens. On April 22, 2023, the Zeebu token launched on the Ethereum mainnet; the full product launch is scheduled for May 14 at ITW, one of the major Telecom industry conferences, to be hosted in National Harbor, Maryland.

Zeebu token to improve inefficiencies

Raj Brahmbhatt, founder and CEO of Zeebu, commented on the launch, saying:

“I am excited to work on a project that aims to solve significant inefficiencies in the telecom carrier industry by using the Zeebu token’s loyalty rewards program in order to improve margin retention and operational inefficiencies. This will disrupt the instant settlements by enabling anytime anywhere transactions.”

Keshav Pandya, Co-founder and COO of Zeebu, added:

“Zeebu’s blockchain-based settlement platform and loyalty utility tokens are designed to bolster the profitability of the legacy telecom carrier industry, which comprises over 6000 players in a $120+ billion market.”

Zeebu offers a bespoke blockchain solution for telecom carriers, tackling practical issues with Zeebu tokens and blockchain technology. The project aims to bring traditional Web2 players onto decentralized platforms, possibly expanding the token to other B2B sectors.

Finally, Zeebu is currently inviting merchant onboarding requests via their waitlist to players exclusively in the telecom carrier industry.
