Staynex, the global vacation club platform, has announced a partnership with tech giant Huawei to harness the power of Web3 technologies and bring revolutionary advancements to the travel and hospitality industry.
The collaboration is expected to deliver a more comprehensive and convenient travel experience to users through artificial intelligence (AI) tools, Staynex said in a press statement on July 28.
According to the firm, the deal will offer an extensive range of hotels and itinerary options tailored to individual preferences, lifestyles, and budgets. As part of the deal, Staynex will be integrated into the Huawei Marketplace, granting Huawei device users convenient access to the travel platform offered by Staynex.
“We anticipate that our partnership with Huawei will facilitate the creation of more solutions for the travel and hospitality industry. We are keen to explore the numerous opportunities and aim to empower global travelers,” said Bernard Lau, Founder and CEO of Staynex.
Banking on Huawei’s cloud technology
In this line, Huawei will utilize its expertise in cloud technology and support for various industries to enhance the Staynex platform. Rex Lei, the Managing Director of Huawei Cloud Singapore, noted that the firm is likely to build on the partnership to enhance the travel industry. According to Lei:
“We are confident that this partnership will enable us to develop more efficient and advanced information and communication technology (ICT) solutions for the travel and hospitality industry.”
Additionally, the partnership also presents an opportunity for Staynex to accelerate its expansion into the Chinese market and beyond while catering to the diverse needs of travelers worldwide.
The partnership aligns with Huawei’s commitment to venture into the AI scene with a focus on the industrial use of the technology. Already, the company has highlighted some of its pathways to achieving this goal. For instance, the company plans to set up a cloud-based system simulation laboratory in Russia and connect it with its cloud hub in Guizhou.
