ReserveBlock RBX is an open-source and decentralized native layer 1 protocol that makes validating and on-chain tokenizing assets accessible to all. Notably, its RBX core-wallet now includes peer-to-peer (P2P) auction and collection features, making it possible for any creator, owner, or issuer to launch self-custody marketplaces without the need for a third party.
Indeed, RBX users now have the ability to broadcast auctions of minted assets from the non-custodial wallet, using features and tools for bidding and ‘buy now’ choices that are all native to the platform and trade directly with other peers. This is the first capability of its sort for any layer 1 protocol, as per the press release shared with Finbold on April 20.
To broadcast their asset collections via the RBX network, RBX users need only pay 10 RBX on publication (which is burned immediately at the time of transaction), allowing them to hold auctions or self-hosted stores on-chain or on social media.
Enhanced P2P experience
Through the wallet, auction, and store, originators can also enjoy a real-time chat function with traders, enhancing the P2P commerce experience. This feature can be used for the transfer of tokenized physical or real-world assets among peers or when seeking additional information directly from the issuers themselves.
On top of the network’s real on-chain royalty enforcement for creators, the RBX native auction engine also now automatically enforces bid fulfillment and ‘buy now’ transactions on-chain, with full transparency over all previous bids and purchases.
Anyone with an RBX wallet may browse all peer auctions and stores, and the wallet will validate the user’s money automatically before they can bid or buy. For each non-fungible token (NFT), all tokenized media and data transfer automatically P2P upon transaction completion, meeting self-custody requirements natively.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that any entity offering on-chain solutions for royalty enforcement and self-executing smart contracts can seamlessly integrate with the RBX engine.
This third-party integration boasts multi-asset leveraging, evolving features, and built-in utility to solve media transfer and ownership for issuer communities. With this technology, trustless engagement, transparent ownership, and enhanced user loyalty are all attainable.
