Peer Inc. announced on August 8 that it was releasing a social app being billed as the “ultimate global launchpad for next-generation digital experiences,” according to the business.
The Peer app, which is currently available for iOS, was developed on a proprietary ecosystem and claims to offer new methods for users to ‘create, interact, and explore,’ as per the latest information shared with Finbold on August 8.
According to the developers, the gamified social experience is a revolutionary step forward for social networking.
“All the world’s a game and Peer makes everyone a player. Get ready for a new kind of social network that’s all about fun, joy, and gamification.” said Tony Tran, CEO and Founder of Peer Inc.
3D maps and blockchain technology
Peer provides users with a dynamic, game-like experience of the real world by combining top-tier location sharing with adaptive 3D maps and blockchain technology.
Users will soon be able to personalize and share a map of their own social world, which is a universe comprised of tales, memories, events, friends, and experiences. Peer, in contrast to traditional social networks, is intended for discovery, the formation of communities, and other activities that take place in the real world.
“This launch marks a major milestone for Peer Inc., and we’re just getting started,” Tran stated.
Tran also expects that within the next few months, the integration of AI as well as other one-of-a-kind innovations that are on its road map are certain to usher in a new age of global interconnection.
